IBM SPSS Uninstall Previous Version

You should always remove a previous version prior to installing a new version of SPSS. Please follow the instructions below for your OS
Windows OS Removal Instructions
Type Program in the Windows search box
Select Add or Remove Programs from the results list
Find IBM SPSS Statistics in the list of applications and choose Uninstall
Reboot if prompted to do so
Proceed with the installation of the latest version if desired
MacOS Removal Instructions
Drag the installation folder to the Trash. By default, this is /Applications/IBM SPSS Statistics <version>.
In your Home folder, browse to Library/Preferences.
Drag com.ibm.spss.plist to the Trash.
Empty the Trash.
If you do not plan to install another version of SPSS and want to ensure complete removal of the application from your computer, IBM has complete instructions at the link below. Note these instructions involve editing and running a script in Terminal.app. If you are not familiar or comfortable with this application, it would probably be best to just stop at step 4. Assisting with this process would be outside the scope of SON Help Desk support.
