IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT CROSS-INSTANCE COLLABORATION! - If you have an account in the SON's Qualtrics instance and someone in a different Qualtrics instance (at SOM for example) want to add you as a collaborator on their surveys, they must add you by using the exact email address that is associated with your account. In the SON's instance, the email address associated with your account will be JHEDID@johnshopkins.edu They must use this email address format when adding you as a collaborator. If you want to add someone as a collaborator on your surveys who has an account in a different instance, then you need to be sure you use the exact email address associated with their account in their instance. For some other Hopkins affiliates, this might be JHEDID@jh.edu 

What is Qualtrics?

Qualtrics is Web-based survey software available for use by all JHU Nursing faculty, students and staff to support teaching and research at JHU. Surveys can be created and distributed by anyone with a JHED account.

How do I get a Qualtrics account?

All School of Nursing staff, faculty and students can create an account to use Qualtrics.

What if I have questions about Qualtrics?

  1. If you are experiencing access problems (not able to create an account or not able to login to Qualtrics), please contact the SON Help Desk.

  2. For training and online support options, click the Help link in the upper right side of the page after logging in. Select "Sign in with SSO" at the login Organization ID "NursingJHU"

  3. Contact Qualtrics using e-mail.

  4. Contact Qualtrics by phone at 1-800-340-9194.

Qualtrics will respond to support telephone calls or e-mail contacts based on the order they are received and relative importance as reasonably determined by Qualtrics. Phone or e-mail assistance from Qualtrics is available during their normal business hours, 9am - 8pm EST on weekdays (Monday - Friday), except holidays. Limited e-mail support is available after hours and weekends.
