Videos won't play in Canvas on Mac

If your videos do not play or give an error on Canvas:

FOR MAC:

  1. Open your System Settings (either in launch pad or clicking the apple logo in the top left, and selecting system settings)

  2. navigate or search for Privacy and Security

  3. Scroll down and look for “Full disk access”

  4. select or slide the slider on the browser you use for Canvas (For example, Chrome)

  5. restart your Mac and videos should be able to play
